AIF IWC Vintage Ingenieur - experiences?

Recommended Posts

theycallmethebreeze

Hi all!

The IWC Vintage Ingenieur in black has been a watch I've been on the lookout for, and oh pray, I came across a new version at Trustytime and Hont: https://trustytime.shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_192&products_id=18646

It has a 9015 which makes me doubt to try it, otherwise looks clean. I've never heard from AI Factory before though.

Anyone experience with AIF or this model? Thanks!

This is not the URL of the "real" TrustyTime. Probably a scammer.

This is the correct one: https://www.trustytime.shop/ and I suppose you refer to this one: https://trustytime.shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30_192&products_id=18645
Miyota 9015 is a very good movement. Anyway, 14mm seems thick for that watch, is that the gen thickness?

Wow, saved me there, thanks! Corrected the URL.

It's the same thickness as gen (gen actually being 14.5mm). Concerns with the 9015 might be the noise in this fairly large casing. Other than that I can't seem to find other models from AIF. Other Might just try it and see what's what.

Check if still available, as it came out 2 years ago...

Noise isn't a big deal, you just need to put a micro amount of oil in the rotor ball bearing to fix that smile.png
