Pesman 9,461 Posted April 24, 2022 Plenty of Rolex Daytonas available to buy at Far East Plaza Watch Exchange - every single configuration imaginable too. They are second hand and cost over 40k but hey, if that's what one is looking for, it's all good. Also every pawn shop has a choice of Rolex sports models. I seriously wonder how many are top reps. Someone wanted to sell me a 2010 Pam 028 and it wasn't a reissue so obviously it was a rep. Hard not to be sceptical about the rest.... Can try one on at numerous AD but of course can't buy ANYTHING at all. You have to go on a waiting list for one specific watch (and one only, they won't let you nominate more than one) and then you wait, and wait, and wait....... There was also a blue dial AP 15720 diver - for 58.2k and I was still tempted to buy it and sell half my collection and call it a day !That’s what the reps are for,…until the madness stops…the Tudor was adamant that they are told not to sell to anyone who hints at flipping…she reckons Tudor have a new factory coming on line soon to address the problem of new model demand exceeding supply…it’s all a bit weird…Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Pesman 9,461 Posted April 24, 2022 I see they now have a Longines Pioneer GMT as well…42mm and more than a hint of Autavia about it…nice though….blue on blue leather is cool but this my favourite…. And the Blue… The Autavia as a comparison, also 42mm…think the Longines takes it….

Pretty sure these will come out. I've yet to see (strangely actually) a 2893 movement out from the Chinese guys... They have the 2892, I can't get why they didn't make the GMT version yet, being quite popular (see both the Tag and these Longines). The GMT 2836 will be too thick for them. G_sus 549 Posted July 1, 2022 The new Brietling Superocean Available in 36, 42 & 44mm Most 'Lingers aren't happy with the design, but at least they are making it in a range of sizes! Cant help thinking 38mm/39mm/40mm would have been a sweet spot however...

APjumbo 3,031 Posted August 17, 2022 @Pesman I didn’t realize the San Martin was so small. 41 would have been better. Also I guess they can’t make a rep using the ST19 because it would need a date complication.

Do you think the 1226 will be rep'ed? I'm so very much jonesing for this one. IMO it would be an easy build as the case/movement/hands are already in production. Just need to make a white dial for a 42mm case. Damn I want this one rep'ed.
APjumbo 3,031 Posted October 18, 2022 (edited) I don’t think we will be so lucky The 1226 is 44mm looks like the pam01223 is 42mm As well as the pam02223 I can’t tell the difference between the two 42mm versions Edited October 18, 2022 by APjumbo

Uhm, until they'll release something that is not a "15400 mishmash" I'll not get interested... They are a good brand and they also do good watches, but this model is... Well, you know what I mean

But either way, 42 and 44mm subs with cases like that exist, so all they need is the white dial to swap into a black dialled watch.
