Pesman 9,461 Posted August 4, 2023 Stepping in once again to say I'm ready for a BB54! Maybe the best modern watch...at minimum the best modern sports watch Not at 37mm...Sent from my SM-G977B using Tapatalk
porschespeedster 19 Posted August 8, 2023 Some of us still fit into the clothes we wore in our early 20s. The BB54 is for us For too many years, the good stuff was only available in L, XL, or XXL.

The movement, caliber 2455/2, is 3.6mm thick and 26.2mm of diameter, and they can use: - the Miyota 9015, which is 3.9mm with a diameter of 26mm. - the ETA 2892-A2 which is exactly 3.6mm with a diameter of 25.6mm. IF (and is a big IF) they don't put any stupid fake plate on top of the movement and they use the Asian version of the 2892-A2, they can reproduce the 222 perfectly.

GingerApple 7,272 Posted September 4, 2023 Is that the Brad Pitt one? Looks pretty good on him tbf, very slim and elegant. Then again, he could make a paper bag look cool. Prick.

There's nothing similar, so either they'll do in pure bronze (and it will tarnish with time) or gold plated (which will be ugly respect to the gen).

No date and Blancpain will appeal…be patientSent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If you believe the 'watch press' online, yellow gold is making a comeback, so expect to see a few more makers going down that route, following on from the VC222 etc.

Horace Derwent 795 Posted February 8 @G_sus: i think , and ihope, that they will Rep the Polo 79...i am a member of Piaget newsletter, and yesterday i did receive an email for the release of the Polo 79...so it is in Piaget 2024 catalogue, a current production model. They would need a Micro rotor movement, but we already saw it in some Patek and Bulgari Octo .....so it is feasible.
