Pesman 9,461 Posted June 19, 2020 My new BWE (bestest watch ever).. moved onto a genuine IWC leather with Heuer buckle off Etsy... got too paranoid about scratching the super shiny bracelet... Just got told new contract start delayed a week...aargh...more watch madness time... Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Very nice. White dial with dark outlined hands. Makes a huge difference for legibility Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Del 4,514 Posted June 19, 2020 6 hours ago, Pesman said: I was unaware of this issue, until the comment so did some research... really good article here about how Tag recalled them all... https://millenarywatches.com/tag-heuer-isograph-recall/ Summed up by... Why TAG Heuer recalled the Isograph The worldwide recall of the Isograph has to do with a technical issue. The issue supposedly has something to do with the new materials used in the movement. The carbon composite hairspring was praised as innovative when the model released, but the issue could potentially have to do with the hairspring which may not be durable enough for real-life use. Apparently they will swap any for free but it's an interesting dilemma as they are clearly rare... ForDel 's benefit the article goes onto say... "What we do know is that Tag Heuer will not continue to produce or promote this collection as ”Isograph”, but rather only as ”Autavia”. This makes the Autavias with the Isograph printing on the dial rather special…and perhaps highly sought-after in the future due to their limited production." Thanks for a fascinating little diversion... Does anyone know if they dropped the price when it reverted to the standard calibre 5 movement? I don’t think that is necessarily accurate. See this article where two of the TAG product design executives are specifically asked about the Isograph.... (and yes, they did reduce the price of the re-issued model with the bog standard Calibre 5 movement). https://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuers-2020-vision/

dave47 6,545 Posted June 19, 2020 Hi, Gang! WELCOME to the start of another weekend! For today, this VERY LIGHTLY worn BREITLING GMT watch on black rubber. I don't know anything else about its nomenclature other than it's being a GMT. I don't remember where, when, I purchased this, but it HAS sat in the watch box a very long time without being worn at all. Today I thought I'd take it for a ride. It's a nice looker with adjustable GMT hand but very little lume on it, measures 49mm x 15mm, and is quite comfy. dave:
