Night and day, good call on the 43mm. Are you keeping the Gate 46 or is it pointless now that you've got your GF?!? Damn you!

Not usual to see AP's on these wrist checks, ofc as I'm thinking that there's one on that very page.

Where did you get that strap?  That's a lot thicker and better braiding than I've seen on most perlons.

It looks like you got halfway through, then attacked it with your old school compass.

I got it in an M2M deal, it just came with a watch. The clasp says Eulit if that helps. It actually feels very cheap, like it's made of brittle plastic almost. Strange thing.

Here perhaps

I actually used a nail file, the problem is I did it long before trying bleach and all the scratches were barely noticeable until it faded. You can imagine my HORROR as I pulled it out

I suppose it's time to hit up Raffles.

Maybe try and sand them out with fine sandpaper? Or live with it; it's not THAT bad.

Thanks for that, I thought it looked cool.  Never would've thought it was cheap material bu the material.

Good Evening, Folks! I trust you are all making an effort to stay safe in these challenging times!

For today, a watch purchased several years ago while on a cruise, a watch I didn't have in my collection before --  a SKELETON watch, by STUHRLING ORIGINAL automatic. Got it on a "discount" & cost only $200, but it appeared to be very solid, large (50mm w/o crown; `5mm thick), mounted on a supple rubber strap. Keeps great time & IS fascinating to watch the movement in action (cal. ST-90650,w/ 20 jewels). "Neat-o" (old guy's term) watch. dave:

Sorry, Gang! I'm having trouble uploading the six pics I took of this STUHRLING ORIGINAL  watch; I could only get two (2) shots.
