BravoDelta 22,624 Posted June 22, 2020 My first "build"... a Raffles Tudor watch set with eBay sourced Asian 2824. No modding or anything, just a little experiment to see if I could put one together. Didn't have too much trouble, but of course there were moments. I included one action photo to show that I really did do something.

Thommo82 1,397 Posted June 22, 2020 Mate that looks great! Pretty satisfying too, putting a watch together then actually watching it tick. I bought a beat up 1979 Bulova Snorkel. Changed the movement, dial and hands myself with a $15 watch repair tool kit. As you said, “there were moments”

sscandyman 1 Posted August 24, 2020 @BravoDelta i know this is an older thread . how is the Raffles quality ? I'm guessing not as good as the reps from the TDs but the project sounds fun !

Of course you could screw it up putting it together, but so do rep factories sometimes Here it is on a custom Nero strap...
sscandyman 1 Posted August 24, 2020 I have absolute faith in my ability to screw it up ! but off to the tech section i go lol . The Nero strap looks great on it !
Edeeot 159 Posted August 24, 2020 Great information!!! Maybe after I get my hands on a few reps and do some dissections, might try my hand at building. Looks like a lot of fun, great work.
