Replica AP Diver on the bay?

Guys does this look gen to anyone?

I just think the watch screams rep.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184344202053

My mate is actually interested in bidding on it but I just feel there is something off about it. The rotor seems to hide the movement. The orange on the dial should fade as well which this seems to be missing. Also think the date just looks wrong.

The seller has high feed back but no actual feedback as a seller.

I could be wrong.

What does everyone else think?

Thanks.

Nothing wrong with asking for more pics, and a pic of the papers so you can check the provenance?

That's exactly what my mate has done and the buyer hasn't responded....

Very common with grey market watches to have an undated warranty booklet, and Volta SRL in Piacenza checks out as an AP dealer. Faking that stamp is a lot of effort to go to... Unless of course it's from another watch etc etc.

I don't see anything there that makes me thing it's a rep, but I also wouldn't part with £7,500+ of my hard-earned on an AP from a private seller on eBay either :)

If I had a gun to my head, I'd plump for Gen, but I certainly wouldn't buy it without high Res pics of everything!

I asked him about it, and he didn’t reply.
There’s always the possibility that he’d bought it thinking it was gen but been done over.
