thatjakea 57 Posted July 4, 2020 I’m interested to hear and see if there is a particular “across the board” piece or model that pops up a lot Regardless, i’m sure we’ll have a few heart break stories here lol. Let me kick if off - It has to be my BP YM REF 116622
Simonix 8,660 Posted July 4, 2020 Biggest regret was selling my gen Breitling SOH. :-(
paccbet 7,176 Posted July 5, 2020 Rep 1675 Gen Tudor Black Bay (might buy it back)
Thommo82 1,397 Posted July 5, 2020 Too hard to limit this to just one. So I’ll do two reps and two gens. Reps being the Bell & Ross 123 heritage sport ( which I will buy in gen one day) and the U1 Patek Nautilus. Yeah I know it’s a cheapy, but those who have handled it know it’s worth hanging on to. Gens are Bulova Lobster and Seiko SKX009, complete with naturally faded Bezel insert over decades of wear.
GulfGT40 3,162 Posted July 5, 2020 Never sold one. Once the moneys gone its gone, go to work, make some more, buy another. I've had some fall out of favour, I still wear them every so often and the memories of where I was at that point or what made me buy it comes back.
nuvolablue 2,051 Posted July 5, 2020 Modded BP Classic Comex Sea Dweller. I've got another since that's standard out the box.But my biggest regret is getting rid of the TC Bracelet and Clasp that came with it. Only realised how good it was once it had gone. I hate the BP bracelet so much that I wear the watch on rubber most of the time. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

RussP 22,299 Posted July 6, 2020 I have absolutely no regrets. Had 3 watches that I sold to a colleague when I was going through the throes of divorce and child-support hell.... But he sold them back to me a couple of years later when I was back in the black. Hence, no regrets.

Have been looking to add a really nice chrono to my collection and the Big Eye is the one I keep coming back to. I’m getting rather fussy on watches I drop any decent amount of money on these days, do a ton of research, watch a bunch of reviews. Literally can’t fault the Big Eye, ticks every possible box.
