And my latest purchase:  A HeimdallR Sumo Special Edition.  The dial is painted with the "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by the master painter Hokusai in 1829:   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokusai

It just came in via DHL in record time.   I ordered the watch on July 5th around 4AM, and paid for the $20 upgraded shipping.   It arrived today (July 7th) at noon in Florida.  It's gotta be some kind of record, especially with the whole covid thing going on.

Thanks, I really like it.  I tested the crystal, and it is indeed sapphire with a good AR coating.

Nice pick up.

These are gaining popularity of late.

Instagram has a few modders who convert Seiko divers with this (and similar) dial patterns for a tidy sum of $$$.

Thank you, gentlemen.  I like the fact that this watch is 44mm, has a good movement, and actual sapphire for the crystal.  It makes me happy every time I look at it during the interminable meetings.  Yeah, the lume lasted all night, and is fantastic looking.

I've been looking at this one and the San Martin - tending towards San Martin since they usually excel at everything they do... but the printing here is immaculate! Great buy OP!
