Diluted 216 Posted July 13, 2020 With my new addiction in full swing, I've acquired a bunch of watches, and my nightstand was looking pretty messy, so when I saw this box come up on Touch of Modern for around $50, I went for it. I try not to buy leather things firsthand, for ethical reasons, so the faux leather was a plus in this case. The box is well made, the lid is weighty and does not flex from side to side, and there is a small piece of ribbon to stop it from flopping open more than 90 degrees. The watch pillows (no idea what they are called) are nice, but a little small, and so the watches will wiggle from side to side, or if you were to turn the box upside down, the watches would all fall out of their slots. I've not had my hands on another watch box, so I don't know if this is standard or not, but I was surprised, because usually they are a snug fit and would nominally hold the watch still in the slot. The interior is velvet lined, and nicely finished, no extra glue marks or anything out of place. Overall very happy for the money spent.
