Cheers mate, the longish lug to lug helps it wear a little bigger than its 40mm case size, and that’s a good thing

Another one that got away, and is missed. Was a ripper watch

Finally revived this one, spent a few years in my watch box with a bad movement. Finally sourced a correct NOS movement and here it be.

So I put @brang1’s Rotary on a Geckota racing strap. Looks the fookin’ goods I say. I think it will look good on just about anything though to be fair.

Think it will end up being my main work watch, change the strap every day to keep ‘em guessing

I guarantee you will be overly pleased. One thing to note, even though you may never want to take the bracelet off, yes, it’s that good, the position of the springbar holes means that it (so far as I can tell) will only take gen straps.
I’m going to order the rubber strap and clasp

This year's nominated 'pool watch' pic, taken underwater.

They have some tantalizingly nice looking straps, and they even ask your wrist size so they might even fit me! I ordered the bracelet of course, so I look forward to hearing your thoughts on their straps when arrived. Cheers!

Now, back to the empty trading floor. What, exactly, are they doing with all our money?!?

From reviews I’ve watched, all strap options are fantastic. Just went to order the strap and clasp (have to order separately) and the clasp to fit the Essence is sold out and only available through pre order. Damn. Might see if the guy I bought the watch off through Chrono24 has any.
Curious as to which dial you chose?

I struggled between meteor and blue, but finally went blue. It's like the best of Gerald Genta for a fraction of the price! If I see any straps available anywhere I'll let you know.

Show us a pic of the bracelet clasp when you next wear it :)

Will do.

The blue is stunning. Not only are there horizontal grooves in the dial, it also has extra fine vertical brushing you can only see if the light hits it just right.
They really went the extra mile with this watch
