Screw for Radiomir strap

Recommended Posts

paulro

I’ve lost a screw that attaches the bar strap to the watch.

Is there a standard replacement to be had? Where’s the best place to look?

thank you

He may mean the screws that hold the radiomir bars in place these are made of soft cheese they were available on ebay at one time

Spring bars that emulate the screws are best to replace with. Panatime have them

Quite possibly. I've not come across those, but I can see what you're talking about from the Ferret's link.

You can find them on ali and the gate if you have a search. I love radiomirs but the bars for the strap are a pain.

I've had bad luck with replacement screws, apparently the case threads are very critical. I did a klugey thing for a pretty good replacement set, using silicone and Loctite, which I recommend using in any case. Hopefully I'll die of old age before I need to replace the strap. Also, a jeweler told me they see this happen with gens- they can make screws! I had no idea.

You also can ask your optician, they have screws in Steel in all sizes...

Cheers Ralf
