Archie_Bunker 6 Posted September 30, 2020 Hello! I got a West End Sowar 1916, 6 years ago. This brand is not very famous, except in vintage watches, as they were the suppliers of the watches for the Indian army. The brand is Swiss and established in 1886. The average price of this particular model is around 850USD. It’s small ( just below 40mm) and I have the gold with white dial marker. It uses a ETA 2895-2 movement and seems pretty accurate. My favorite thing is the markers as depending on the light they seem blue or black. The sapphire lens, conical in shape protrudes from the case and makes the watch look very different. The strap is mounted on horns instead of lugs which gives it a very nice vintage look. Here’s some pictures : Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
