RussP 22,228 Posted October 4, 2020 @Intresting So you were trying it on to see if you wanted it? Reminds me of the time I visited the Bvlgari boutique in Queens Plaza (CBD) and the sales manager wanted me to try on the Daniel Roth designed minute repeater-tourbillon, which was approx $350K. He was encouraging me to take a 'wristie' but I politely declined. He told me that I was the first person that had EVER declined the opportunity.............. I explained that the watch was just too large for my tastes.

The rose gold is almost 50% more than the pure titanium.... will go have a look at the pure titanium when it comes in next month or so. Del 4,459 Posted October 4, 2020 10 hours ago, Intresting said: @Del and @RussP So the story is.... was at the AD with some mates and the target actually was this. (sorry for the smears on the crystal. Its a hot day today...) The proplof was on display, and it was the rose gold titanium version. It sits rather well on the wrist. Amazingly comfortable for such a big watch. Price will need a second mortgage or a significant portfolio shift. Am unsure if its worth paying so much more for the rose gold, and they are out of the full titanium model for now. Will go have a look when its in. So, not quite "landed' it. Tempting, but the cost is eye watering. Oh, very nice!
