Im looking at this watch"  BSW0400A - Avenger II GMT BlackSteel DLC/TI/RU Black GF V2 A2836  $346

Question I have is black steel, should I be worried about chipping?    IT states  DLC Coated on Solid High Grade Titanium Case.

DLC is "diamond like carbon". When done correctly you end up with a very strong surface that resists chipping and scratching. When done poorly? All bets are off. I've heard pretty good things about GF (factory), but there's always an anomaly.

I personally have never had a problem with DLC, but then I don't beat the hell out of my watches.

Thanks.  Yeah I have so many I'm pretty  easy on them myself, since I wear a new watch about every day., alternate between about 6 or 7. . So this will get worn about 5-6x a month.

Then you should be fine. But maybe some Breitling GF DLC owners can comment. I don't recall ever reading any complaints, and if you're dealing with one of the better TD's they won't sell you anything with known flaws. Nice watch btw :thumbsup2:
