Jetpants 40 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) I've had my eye on this release for while, but after trying on, decided it wasn't for me. I've been wearing a much bigger turtle (the LE Grurtle) pretty much daily, for years. Despite this being so pretty, and with it's obvious heritage, it just didn't sit well on the wrist for me. Shortly after trying it on, it disappeared from the local AD. When another local AD put one in the window recently, I popped in to try it 'one last time'. It was either 2kish on this or $700ish on a rep... The AD told me there were only five in the country. Given that Aussie RRP is comparable to the rest of the world pricing (for once), I bought it on the spot. I still didn’t love it, but hey, it's a sought after LE and very well finished. I wore it for my first full day yesterday, and NOW I love it. This thing sings. wears perfectly with work gear, matches my almost entirely navy wardrobe and perhaps best of all, catches eyes - both my own and everyone else’s. The many shiny details and edges on dial, bezel, and case catch the light as it moves, and glistens. Best of all, the two Rolex people around me have both given it me the 'sly look' - you know - trying not to be seen figuring out what it is without straight out asking. The eye catching edges and better than prospex build qual give this a luxury vibe from across the room (or at arm’s length). Now I love it. Couple of quick shots: No trickery in these shots, it’s cobalt in the light, near to black in the shade This guy has the best breakdown on this range being lux If you get a chance to pick up in this range, do it. They're comparable finishing to GS. Edited October 9, 2020 by Jetpants img code

That's weird, I can't see them on mobile, but can on PC. They're self-hosted, and I've tried with codes and without. Both show on PC but not on mobile. will investigate some more (because, frankly, you're missing out on seeing my watch )
GingerApple 7,289 Posted October 9, 2020 I can see them in the UK on iPhone and they're tremendous! I'm very jealous, congrats.

My mission here is complete then Regarding the pics: I've just created a post in the testing forum using these different methods: direct post, [/img], and via the upload image/clickpix insert. They all show on pc, but they all don't show on mobile (android). Weird. I'm at a loss.
FudgyDocker 3,501 Posted October 9, 2020 Yeah, I can see them on my phone in tapa (and I didn't have to buy a Crapple phone to do it), but not on my laptop! Sent from my SM-F916B using Tapatalk

FudgyDocker 3,501 Posted October 10, 2020 Looks fantastic, and I know it's a limited edition re-issue, but you'd think they stick a high beat movement in for £1200!
CollieWobbles 236 Posted October 10, 2020 It is nice though, congrats

Exactly what I thought when I saw it in the flesh. But at least it has that 25 year service schedule. 16 hours ago, CollieWobbles said: It is nice though, congrats Thanks mate!
