Help needed on keyless work 21J movement

Recommended Posts

Hey all concerned,

I need a help with Asian 21J movement. The thing is, in the past, I didn't really know how to put back the stem, and I managed to "damage" the movement. But more I think the issue is with just the levers splitting the winding position, date position and change hour position.

So what is the problem, when I have greatly smashed the stem in ( ), the thing is, when I want to wind the watch I set time, when I want to change the date I set time, and when I want to change the time, nothing really happens, but sometimes the stem catch the wheel. Also the hack mechanism is not functioning, the movement is working nonstop, even when I again remove the stem.

So the question is, how to repair it ? Yeah I have already dissembled one movement, but so many small parts there is, I need help

If nobody will know what I am saying, I will post video and pictures.

Any help appreciated.

BTW I want to use these movements, I know they are cheap, but I am from poor country, and we want to repair and reuse everything ! lol

Thanks all.

Ron posted a whole Tuto on here repairing the 21j keyless.

Judging by the symptoms the set lever is off it's peg, and simply needs to be put back in position.
