What is this model??  I love how legible the dial is.

You need to give sell me this.

No idea, as I purchased it from Jason @LightGeek on this forum some time ago.

HI, Gang!

Today was a "two-fer" day: wearing the old TAG HEUER Aquaracer 500M  for most of the day, then during the late afternoon switching over to this OMEGA SEAMASTER  automatic on a nice sailcloth-type strap for my daily two-mile walk and for the rest of the evening. A "present" from The Gate, it's an attractive, accurate time keeper -- whose pearl just fell out sometime tonight, so now I have to go hunting for a replacement pearl. dave:

Thanks. It's a cartel based low beat movement. Custom built for me by Kilowattore. Case reshaped, Rubyswatch dial, Raffles hands, Michael Young crystal.

Thanks for the info!

I've seen him mentioned a few times, it looks like he does great work :)

Thanks, much appreciated.... ... "Le Jour" is  French  meaning "The day".   The photo does not do  justice to the array of colours and geometrical patters which glitter and change at each angle and  different light with the meteorite dial.  It is one of those rare instances where you have to see the watch in person and handle it to appreciate it on the meteorite dial and watch design.   Initially on launch the meteorite dial version cost a crazy $1000 extra more than the other colours and was advertised at $3100 on launch.  Heavily discounted now though and Sale prices are now  more sensible.  After a fair bit of haggling I picked  this one up brand new at a bargain price for around the same amount of $1150.  Comes with the swiss Valjoux 7750 movement and is a hefty build.  .. .. ..    although after some of web searching I believe the case, body, strap etc and other parts are made in the Far East . ..  haven't found out yet where the watch is assembled  and QC'd  ...  but I doubt it is Switzerland  :thumbsup2:

That seems like a total bargain, nicely done! :)
