TanGo 2,231 Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) Just cooked This strap is made of 'crazy horse' leather and hand dyed and tinted for a bronze B&R Mr. @OLDBLOKE74 I hope you enjoy it. I thank Mr. @Megalift for his willingness to help me with the watch he sent me . I am also very grateful to the mister @FerryScoob who went unnoticed but was very kind and also sent me the watch case. Gentlemen, this was very helpful in my work. It is true that I discovered a difference in the length of the lugs and accordingly the positioning of the strap in relation to the watch case. This issue needs to be investigated Edited December 7, 2022 by TanGo

TanGo 2,231 Posted February 7 The hardest work is done. The strap must now rest until tomorrow. The glue needs time to cure. The strap must not be touched or bent now, otherwise the leather layers will shift in relation to each other
TanGo 2,231 Posted February 13 Done. The strap is ready for shipping tomorrow . I can't overlook the fact that this was the first time the customer had dealt with me, but he was very patient, waited without bothering me with reasonable questions about deadlines and with great trust. I am very grateful for that.
TanGo 2,231 Posted March 30 I hate making straps out of fabric, especially nylon. It's just torture ! It's a completely different way of working with leather. It is more malleable, soft and delicate, and I enjoy working with it. Well, what can I do, the customer is always right. Here's the result. Tomorrow I'll paint the holes again, so that the thread doesn't get loose and locks in place

tribefan 6,764 Posted June 5 Look at this beauty!!!!!!!!!!! Another one of a kind creation from @TanGo. I don't know how to explain it, but IRL it is much more subtle than the pics and flows really nicely with the watch head. Just perfect. THANK YOU!!!

TanGo 2,231 Posted July 7 As the saying goes, "dreams come true." Or "three years wait for the promised" Finally I got around to making this strap, which Mr @APjumbo asked me to do last December. Here it is, in the process of assembling. I can say that this strap requires a lot of attention to detail and accuracy, otherwise the geometric pattern will be broken. Still, the work is not finished and the strap can be ruined at any stage of the assembly. Hopefully it will be fine and I won't have to do this job again. So, to the pictures To be continued .....
APjumbo 3,003 Posted July 7 I’ve looked at dozens of pictures of red and black racing straps and knew none of them would be exactly as I wanted or good enough quality. It was definitely worth the wait for yours. I love the red lining! It is exactly how I pictured it, very omega DSOTM vibe.

TanGo 2,231 Posted July 17 I'm embarking on making the next strap. The customer wished a crocodile with hornback anthracite color crocodile leather strap. I have these cut out pieces of white alligator leather. I dyed one of them and did a light surface polish. What a beauty ! Dear @APjumbo, I'm waiting for the exact parameters. Gentlemen, if any of you are tempted by this strap, I have leather for one more strap like this. Hurry up to get an exclusive piece. Quantity is limited !
TanGo 2,231 Posted July 21 This is the kind of strap I ended up with. Very soft and flexible, as I used special chemistry to soften the leather, and also very soft royal blue lamb skin for the lining. I dyed the leather with black dye, but after I soaked the leather with a balm, the color of the leather became dark blue.
