I think that was someone else, I recall the work being a different style. But if you prove me wrong I will delete this as though I never said it.

But untouchable prices...

About prices.

Look at this

https://www.laccrado.com/product/braies/

Or this

https://www.laccrado.com/product/salt/

Is these cow poops cheaper?

Their AP straps don't even have connectors. The link holes are crooked and out of size. These straps don't fits AP watch.
I saw these guys on fb and ebay. They don't know how to work, but they steal designs from other masters.

This site can’t be reached

www.laccrado.com’s server IP address could not be found.

Anyway, for me the uber maximum price for straps are 120€ (croc or alligator). And I've good strapmakers here in Italy that can work for that. But in the moment I pay a whole pair of shoes in full grain cow leather around 100€, I can't accept to pay more than 60€ for a strap which is much easier to produce and requires much less raw material.
Normally I am pretty happy to go for vietnamite-made real crocodile strap at around 40/50€ shipped.

I can't see value in spending more than what mentioned.

You're partly right. Because you are the owner of a replica watch. Luxury watch straps are more expensive than shoes.
It is worth noting that crocodiles in Vietnam are found in the same number as toads in swamps. Considering the cost of poaching leather and the quality of the strap, $ 50 is even a lot.

Guys, I've developed a new watch strap model. The inspiration was Panerai and Steinhart watches.
The strap is made of vegetable-tanned leather using the embossing technique. The strap has been tinted and finished.
I am interested in your opinion on the design. "Cool" or not? :)

Does it make sense to continue working in this direction?

Wow! I've not seen anything like that before. Amazing skills, but I'm struggling to envisage it on my wrist. Have you got a watch it looks good on to help with the imagining?

I don't know if it helps. This watch is not mine, the customer gave it to me for a while so that I could make a new strap

It does help. I thought it would need a certain type of watch to look good, but that looks good on a plain (ish) watch so it's more versatile than I thought. I'm perhaps not the best guy to respond as I'm not massively into leather straps (as I've mentioned before), but I think that looks pretty nice. :thumbsup2:

Hi, guys

I'm  interested in your opinion. Will this kind of embossing work for Panerai straps?

I like it, but I am a fan of more... unique styles. I dont think this would be for everyone, but I would be into it, personally.

Thank you for your opinion.
Anyway, I'll continue to emboss the leather tomorrow for a new strap. I'll see how it goes

Perhaps if the embossing was the other way, they would meld together a little better, with the nose pointing toward the watch and the pointy part of the spinal column between the horns

the ram's head will not be together with the "spine" on the strap. I just tried how this stamp works on the skin. These two stamps can be used separately

Ah, I kinda like the combination of the two! :)

Certainly people will dig the motif of that band, but to me, PAM is naval / water based and this seems to be desert to me.

I struggle to imagine how the finished strap will look. I'll let you know my thoughts when it's finished.

Very nice work. You have a great skill set and I hope that it is profitable for you. Some beautiful AP straps in the python!
