I have to ask Jibuti about this OK, The idea to make such a strap came after watching the thread about Panerai. @yllekp showed how to make a patina on this page >>> And I decided to try to make a patina on the skin. Over time, the shine will wear off and the strap will not be so bright.
TanGo 2,444 Posted December 15, 2020 Well, the strap is finished. After embossing, the leather was dyed, toned, patinated and "aged" It remains to make holes for the buckle. TanGo 2,444 Posted December 23, 2020 Hooray, the strap is done! The Grand Prix is the most sophisticated strap of all Audemars Piguet straps, but also it's one of the most spectacular :). I'm happy with how it turned out. Tomorrow I will punch holes!

The best strap is the one that is assembled and stitched by hand. I have several sewing machines. But I sew leather products exclusively by hand. The product from this becomes more beautiful and better quality. Machine-sewn straps are cheaper in quality. And I love my job and I want it to be at a high level
