Sure, but I can't see a Back Bay Boston dandy like him wearing cow skulls, or are those sheep?

Hi guys !

I assembly a new strap

It must look like a bronze with the patina

What do you think about this ?

I'm sure Semperfi would like it. And the ancient Romans. For me, it's a bit much.

I have to ask Jibuti  about this :giggle:

OK, The idea to make such a strap came after watching the thread about Panerai.
@yllekp showed how to make a patina on this page >>>

And I decided to try to make a patina on the skin. Over time, the shine will wear off and the strap will not be so bright.

Well, the strap is finished.

After embossing, the leather was dyed, toned, patinated and "aged" :giggle:

It remains to make holes for the buckle.

Hooray, the strap is done!

The Grand Prix is the most sophisticated strap of all Audemars Piguet straps, but also it's one of the most spectacular :).

I'm happy with how it turned out. Tomorrow I will punch holes!

Nearly.

The OEM strap has Alcantara edges, and mine has paint on the edges  :)

Never!

The best strap is the one that is assembled and stitched by hand. I have several sewing machines. But I sew leather products exclusively by hand. The product from this becomes more beautiful and better quality.

Machine-sewn straps are cheaper in quality. And I love my job and I want it to be at a high level

Unfortunately, there are restrictions on delivery to the UK.

I sent a present to two of my friends in Australia through a friend in England. This package still in Frankfurt from 19 December :(
