AcousticNRG 0 Posted October 25, 2020 Hello , can anyone help me out , this morning i went to adjust the time on my sub and the crown felt loose like it is not engaging the gears inside? i cannot wind it , change date/time etc. it is 6 months old from trusty time thanks
BadApple 13,081 Posted October 25, 2020 Maybe it has malfunctioned? Try removing the crown and re-inserting..... no need to take movement out of watch - just use rubber ball back remover. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QWt9pgsfA4
Foxindebox 465 Posted October 25, 2020 Sounds like the Keyless work needs resetting, yoke might have come lose from sliding pinion.

What movement is it running?

THIS ^^^^^ Plus you didn't even write which kind of movement there's in the watch. Plus it can be a fucked up crown and nothing in the movement. Or even an unscrewed stem in the crown. I really can't get why people pretend informations when they firstly cannot give all the details that are needed to whom they ask...
AcousticNRG 0 Posted October 26, 2020 sorry its a 2824 movement here is the pictures of it
GenTLe 1,509 Posted October 26, 2020 Ah, ok, so it came out completely. Well It's not a big deal of a job on a 2824, it can also be done from the back of the watch without removing the hands/dial, if you know how and it simply needs a reset. But if you never worked on a movement, don't have the proper tools (like 1.2mm screwdrivers, ultrafine tweezers and so on), it's better to ask someone more expert to fix it. It's let's say a 30min job, if all goes well. And 1.5h job if not and requires dial removal. I don't know where you are from, but you can check in the TD section for the trusted watch techs or trying politely to ask @ROLIE in UK if he has time and willing to do that.
