@RussP   Love that grey dial Russ on your Hamilton ...  looks nice that Russ   . .. .  Paul Scurfield, is a commercial diver from Scotland who owns and designs Scurfa Watches that started as a hobby  .. .  . ..  Scurfa now sell a popular range of watches  . . .. and offshore worker reviews have helped to establish it as a serious  range of quality, fit for purpose watches for offshore/diving/watersports (although I believe they are made in the Far East, reviewers say the build quality and QC is extraordinary)    . .. .  well, Scurfa did a Bell Diver 1 Black PVD / Stainless Steel Automatic Model with a fabulous Gloss Grey Dial . . . .  sold out quickly  . ... .  and alas I was not quick enough off the mark  . . .. and have been hopeful that someday I will pick up one of those Gloss Grey Dial Scurfa Watches on the second hand/used market  ..  ...  . . .. . . .. . . although your Hamilton looks very nice too Sir .

Thanks for the kind words, Paul.

I'm aware of the Scurfa brand of watches, but not the story behind them.

This Hamilton is on my wrist every single day and night, until I take it off for the daily RWG wristie.

Aye, that Hamilton watch with the Arabic numerals is as well balanced a dial as I’ve seen on a watch ... ... :thumbsup2:

I think I've totally f***ed up the formatting on this multiquote   so hopefully these pics are with the right person :D lol

I love the high beat Seiko stuff - is 36000 noticeable different to 28800?

I don't think I've seen this before - I love the alternative hands to the standard Mercedes handset :)

The higher beat 36K has a noticeably smoother sweep than the 28.8K versions.

Timekeeping is on par, so I can't comment on this particular issue.
