Redfire1066 10,946 Posted November 27, 2020 @Thinwrist smashing watch . . bizarrely in the past I had often met the current Lord Elgin, Andrew Douglas Alexander Thomas Bruce, 11th Earl of Elgin and 15th Earl of Kincardine, KT, CD, JP, DL, he was born back in 1924, styled as Lord Bruce before 1968, Andrew is a Scottish peer and Chief of Clan Bruce. .. . he is in his 90's the old boy . . 96 I think. His son and Heir apparent . ... Charles Bruce, Lord Bruce is quite a character and is very colourful and chatty man. He has the reigns these days and was a regular Pre-Covid lockdown having a pint of ale and a whisky chaser in the local village pubs in Limekilns, Fife. .. . Wonder if he is aware of this watch brand & model ? . .. .. . I'll remember to throw it in the conversation should he be chatting to a mere PLEB such as I . .. .. me Lord !! .

Redfire1066 10,946 Posted November 28, 2020 .. . .. and your right on the money in more ways than one .. . President Bracelet is renowned for stretching .. .. . heavy to wear too ... back in 1988 I was wearing a 16018 with an 18ct Yellow Gold case & strap ... to be honest . .. too heavy on my wrist .. ... fortunately & unfortunately I was relieved of it in a losing bet during a few frames of snooker . .. if you snooze you lose ...
