Please take this with a grain of salt as it's "an unschooled observation from an inexperienced newbie" and in no way meant as criticism, but I've personally been a bit gun shy on the Asian 3135 movements owing to my lack of experience with them and potential challenges with getting parts and servicing. I'm bringing this up only because I'm deferring to experience and asking if you could share feedback about your time with these movements. Pm,d
MAJ75 922 Posted December 1, 2020 @Moondustesp Another excellent result, you always pick projects that I would equally love to do. The patina across the pearl, hands & indices is just perfect... Enjoy it mate, I'l look forward to seeing it on the bracelet.

Mbari 2,227 Posted March 4, 2021 Such a fun project, I built 2... Why I have no idea. But love them both. Are you shaping the ST case or using it as is? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
Moondustesp 136 Posted March 9, 2021 I have left the case as is but lugs could defo do with thinning slightly. I think it is more that there is a lack of chamfer which gives the lugs a chunkier appearance.
Jajajaja 4 Posted March 29, 2021 I have left the case as is but lugs could defo do with thinning slightly. I think it is more that there is a lack of chamfer which gives the lugs a chunkier appearance. I agree with the thinning of the lugs and shaping of the case. The chamfers will accentuate a slimmer look, but the lugs will still be thick. Since the dial shows aging, I think it would be nice if the case complemented the whole. You don’t have to destroy it with marks and scratches or turn the lugs into sticks, but definitely suck some fat of those lugs Nice build, looking forward to see what you will do with it.

Popperini 17,788 Posted May 23, 2021 Haha! So I just found this thread, after buying the watch a couple of days ago. I mean, you could've linked to it in your sale thread, @Moondustesp, you 'nana! I s'pose I ought to apologise to Wurzel for nabbing it before he had a chance.

No apology necessary, I’d already had a back door offer but cash is earmarked for other things right now. it is a proper belter of a build though and we’ll all sleep a little more soundly in our beds knowing it’s gone to a good home congrats
