Congrats Interesting, love the SMP GMT. I have one of the reps, quite rare I'd suspect.

Coming up; Hammy Chrono- IWC Spitfire wannabe, but nice I think.

The Hamilton is a better design than the IWC methinks @NFleischer - Citizen makes a solar doppelganger too, I've considered getting it but you need to wear it often or keep it in the light so it doesn't power down, and that's just inconvenient with a big collection.

And YOWZA @Intresting, wait, that's a '98 right? When BD said "new" I thought he meant a reissue. I've always wanted one of these, one of the best SM designs ever imho :)

@FunnyStarSystem  yes.  Its a 1998.   There is a funny story ...I got it at an auction unexpectedly...  I left a bid of what I wanted to pay for it (thinking I probably would not get it) and forgot about it until I won. :)  I love the 18k gold nugget Omega detail.  They should bring it back for the newer models.

That is a pleasant surprise! Was it an Oz local auction or can anyone bid? I have loved these for a long time and had one in my shopping cart from time to time when I see them, willing to take a chance, understanding it will probably be a few hundred to get it sorted initially. Yours doesn't appear to have even a scratch on it! Did you have any work done on it after it arrived, or was it pristine?

Nav B Steiny for a slow Sunday;

There's more leather in those two shots than a tag team of plus-size dominatrixes!  :Shocked:

Nav B Steiny for a slow Sunday;

It was a local auction.  No overseas postage.   Yes, I was surprised that the watch was actually even better than the photos.  The person who owned it really looked after it.  It had, papers, box and all.  It had also been serviced lately too.  I was just glad I threw in my hat for a bid.   I also really like the Tai Chi.  If only VSF will re-make that darn ceramic triangle to all pointy ends (Its me I know, everything else is fine, but I just cannot "unsee" it and it bugs me).
