I used to surf (well, bodyboarding - which is nothing like proper surfing whatsoever) so I like to see a nice surf spot. I gave up bodyboarding (in part) because the water was always so cold when the surf was good that it would invariably make me need a poo. And as we all know, having a wee in your wetsuit is nice when it's cold, but taking a dump in your wetsuit... not so comforting. And as I've mentioned elsewhere, I'm pretty scared of the sea too, so the hobby and I just didn't hit it off on several levels.
