The sunburst is striking, and the contrast between the very dark blue dial and bright white lume is very nice. The finish of the case looks good. And the strap doesn't scream "CHEAP!!" either. I can only assume the name "petit prince" is a little IWC joke... this is massive! But it fits me just right on the last strap hole, fortunately. It was a novelty watching the power reserve needle climbing while I wound it. These are the sort of things that are fun to me - I'm very, very easily entertained.

I may well be walking directly into what we used to call a "RINSE!" when we were kids, and you are likely very aware of this, but I just couldn't resist being a twat..... There are "Le Petit Prince" versions of many different IWC models, not just that big 'un. These editions are dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's novella of the same name and IWC are affiliated with the foundation that was created in his name. https://www.iwc.com/gb/en/company/partnerships/saint-exupery.html

Lovely, you are the Tudor Man indeed, I will be seeking your advice for my first purchase. As an aside, I watched all 4 seasons of The Tudors and never saw a single watch! Plenty of quality tits and asses though, so not too terribly disappointing, just misleading.
