The latest one here is a jkf cartel insert.The other ones are from Tiger and Startime. I like the Cartel ones the most so far.Why? Most resilient to fading, baking, torching How?Step1 : Acetone rub to remove the lacquer. I did it about 3 times, you can see the sheen disappear and that's a good place to move to step 2 Step2: Put it on a stove top pan and heat it for a few minutes to start the paint evaporation process I suppose. Step3: Torch with with a big ol flame thrower. Or in my case, I used my wife's creme brulee torch lol Step4: Continue step 3 and wipe off any burnt stuff with a dried up cape cod cloth until desired effect is achieved. Cheers for sharing the steps you're taking to achieve the fade - gonna have a play with that technique too. My previous fading has all been with bleach and/or light sanding.
