I just found out last night that the Ball Watch Company was started in my home town by a jeweller named Ball who also did some side work in the railroad industry.  After a collision just west of the city here in the late 1800's, he created some precision switching and timing devices for the industry which gave rise to the watch company.  Due to his precision in his work, the phrase "Get on the Ball" is attributed to him and his work.

HiYa, Gang! Welcome to the start of a new week; and, hopefully, the return of sanity at the National Level!

For today, this newly arrived Pagani Design Aquaracer (#1668, I believe), secured from Ali.Express, with a nice green sunburst dial design and excellent design details. I had the blue faced one but sold it for some reason; the green dial was just too appealing, so here I go again. Big watch (47mm (c) x 14mm), but very comfy on the wrist. dave:

I like the Ohio connection.  Kipton is about 30 miles from me. Teddy Baldassarre did a video about Ball from Kipton. Here's a recent article about Ball watches.

This would get worn a lot if it wasn't for the crown issue, can't screw it back in.. awaiting replacement parts.. otherwise it's a cracking watch!!

So.. will have to make do with this for the AM slot...
