judas9r 914 Posted January 12, 2021 I've been wearing this vintage Vostok for a couple of weeks now and really enjoying the quirkiness of it. Funny enough, I copped a load of flack for it on a Vostok forum because the dial is a non genuine, after market dail. I nearly pissed myself laughing! If only they knew. It's a Wostok 350, Wostok being Vostok watches for the Eastern European market and export. The 350 case type is regarded as the first Vostok Amfibia . The 350 was the civilian version of the (military commission) NVCH-30. Essentially the same watch, the NVCH benefiting from a thicker plexi and caseback upping the water resistance from 20atm to 30atm. The NVCH also features a Panerai style dial, paddle hands and usually wire lugs for 22mm nato. The case back in cyrillic rather than Latin text of the Wostok, indicating 30arm. Naturally the NVCH is highly sought after and is pretty much unobtainium. I have a set of wire lugs on the way from the motherland but will probably bot change the dial and hands as I prefer these over the NVCH. Anyway enough of my half arsed story, heres some dodgy pictures. Note text on the back of the case is in English not Russian. Also this must be a Friday afternoon watch as the caseback is stamped slightly pissed. Disclaimer. Im not an expert, please don't cite any of this stuff in an argument, you'll probably lose.

BravoDelta 22,458 Posted April 20, 2021 Very interesting piece. I have three Vostoks in various modded forms. My last order from "the motherland" took exactly three months.
