black263 228 Posted March 7, 2021 Can't see the clickpix icon. It looks like the icon doesn't appear if you edit a post. So you can't then add an image.@glaude

A lot of new stuff in here recently, @movintage with the mystery-dialish Longines, never seen one of these before. Yup, it’s still out there in the ether.

No, but the thread is "wrist check.", so, unlike some images these are on my (extended) wrist. I couldn't be arsed to do separate images, and these are my 4 most recent gen purchases.

The original Ventura introduced to the world in ‘57 was Hamilton’s and I believe the world’s first electric ( not quartz) battery powered wristwatch. So your wife’s and yours are closer to the original than the models with automatics. IMHO, timeless works of art that have remained favorites to collectors and the big screen from Elvis Presley to MIB.

Picture was when new, gets more of a tarnish than patina really. The brand has some infamy, I was lucky and had no problems but seems like owner ripped some people off. Who knows Bronze composition, prolly cheated and put Gold instead, LOL Edited March 8, 2021 by NFleischer
