houndoggie 58 Posted June 16, 2011 So here is my 20+ watch collection. It has grown and shrank and grown and shrank and has hit a stable size I think. Can you guess the gens???
Silverspeed 10 Posted June 16, 2011 Very nice collection The top pic are reps, rest are gens I'd guess

onionbag 1 Posted June 16, 2011 A lovely collection, and a man after my own heart as you own a Seiko 5, the watch that got me interested in watches.
greg_r 84 Posted June 16, 2011 Nice collection, HD. Mine seems to have stabilised at around 20 too. Not much else that I really want at the moment, but all of my current watches get worn pretty regularly.
houndoggie 58 Posted June 16, 2011 A lovely collection, and a man after my own heart as you own a Seiko 5, the watch that got me interested in watches. That seiko 5 cost me $40 brand new. Good watches they are.
onionbag 1 Posted June 16, 2011 I paid £23 on the bay 8 years ago, it's my daily beater as I'm a toolmaker and couldn't wear my reps at work, far too rough an environment.
houndoggie 58 Posted June 16, 2011 Also, those 2 Helix watches are a great poor mans Omega X-33. You can find them on occasion on Watchdoddy for $30. They are "swiss" ana-digi movements with backlight luminova on hands, sapphire crystal, and 100m WR. Now, if a machinist can make some lug adapters to fit standard straps, it would be fantastic (it is definitely possible to do this)

NFleischer 4,355 Posted June 16, 2011 Nice collection of reps and gens there HD- a man after my own heart. I just wish I could stabilize @ 20 pieces. My collection keeps getting bigger and I can't seem to get rid of anything, but I do give some away.

kolchak 17 Posted June 23, 2011 Great collection HD - a watch for every occassion. I especially like the top row......which Pam gets the most wrist time? Everytime I see these watchbox/collections pics, I'm always curious if the owner has a clear cut favorite. One popular brand is suspiciously absent (name rhymes with fight-king) Any plans to add one? Lastly - never seen a "Helson" before but I really like it....kinda like a smaller Oris. Have any Helson wristies handy? Sorry for all the questions but thanks for posting

Re, Helson: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...ic=8913&hl= I've since swapped the bezel to a blue one with lume from Helson. I don't have a favorite, though I think the sexiest one is the Speedy Panda.

dumluk 0 Posted June 23, 2011 Nice collection. But the Parnis is upside down in the box...is it sending a message of distress?
