RETIREMENT ROLEX Sea-Dweller 126600

Recommended Posts

BravoDelta

My wife presented me with this brand new Rolex 126600 Sea-Dweller for my retirement. What an awesome gift to commemorate this milestone! Many thanks to her for this incredible watch, not to mention navigating the Rolex market minefield and ultimately landing this beautiful piece.

What else is there to say. This retirement gig ain't so bad :D on to the pics...

Nice pics of a beautiful watch. Some of the forum nitpickers would have rejected that if it was a rep from a TD as "the coronet on the rehaut is not spot on at 12.00". There you go boys the Genuine thing isn't necessarily either :D

Brilliant, top marks to her that’s a brilliant way to commemorate the beginning of you doing all those DIY jobs you promised her you’d do for 30 years... :D

Awesome watch! Great sentiment, my wife would never do anything like this! It just goes to show how anal we are about CQ as the rehaut coronet isn’t 100% in line to the 12 marker, not shitting on your post just pointing out how much we require perfection!

True...If you look at random 126600's on chrono24 you'll see on many that the coronet is a shade off center.

LOL, I thought that too, but that's what I've been doing since lockdown. So I must have a laid back retirement ahead of me....surely?

Matter of fact I did...I always take a video when opening a gen box. Just in case it's the wrong watch inside.

CONGRATS on your retirement, BD!  At least you are one of the lucky ones to be able to do that! It's a beauty! I have the rep from Stan, I believe, but I'd take a GEN anyday.  AND a salute to your wife for knowing what her hubby would treasure. She is most definitely a KEEPER!!

That's amazing!

What a wonderful gift and absolutely cracking watch. It's such a good choice; does everything, looks the dogs, big but not too big, comfy, functional, cool AF - just awesome, congrats.
