Peter Sta 264 Posted March 29, 2021 (edited) Had this for a while.... I just always feel that it needs a bit more love and attention (there’s a song in that).. I can obviously buy all the nato straps in the world and it still won’t change my feeling really. Any pointers or advice? I have an oven and can brew shots of tea & coffee,,,, I love acetone Looking for links, pointers & advice Edited March 29, 2021 by Peter Sta has=has in=it ..... raaaaaar

tribefan 6,768 Posted March 29, 2021 Personally, I like them clean and think it looks great. Don't use acetone anywhere near that dial, it will strip the paint and print straight off. You can shoot the dial l with some lacquer to give it a more matte / aged feel.

For me, the trick is to start with a good spray mist off the piece and then move the spray over it. Don't aim the can right at the piece and hit the button.
