Looking sleek and a nice move with the case-back change. Liking the grey dial on leather strap especially.

I'm actually a big fan of Tudor and the Black Bays so pretty happy they are releasing more, the design is my favourite I just wish  they would bring back the rose dial and the smiley text...

Now to wait a further 7-8 months to get the rep :headdesk:

These are silver and 18k gold cases respectively. Not your normal BB58s!

Brushed gold... I mean I like the idea but seeing the results, it's underwhelming. Polished somewhere could've turned it from OK to great.

Will the 58's come with a bracelet option too?

Nope, it would defy their price bracket I suppose.

Chronos look nice but would you pick these over a moonwatch or navitimer at this level?

Really like the new chrono...!

I’m not convinced by the new BB58s though. I love the current blue/black versions, but not so much these new variants.

And I dont see the point of the display backs when its not a decorated movement -  the movement is an awesome piece of engineering but dont look pretty (vs others like omega)...!

How quickly does brushed silver tarnish?  I think a silver case is a slick idea, but not if it’s an every other day polish.

Woah! I hadn't even realised it was made of silver. That seems strange.

Fucking hell, now we're going to have a hundred threads on RWI talking about how the SS Rep is an instant tell from seven miles away in a dust storm because silver has a slightly different hue when the sun's light is refracted by Jupiter. Gen owning cunts.

No idea re tarnishing though, sorry! I imagine it doesn't tarnish or they'd have to market it as such [In voiceover man macho voice]: "Over time, your constant adventures and manliness will cause the watch to develop a dark patina. This is expected and just proves you're winning. Keep on winning. Winner."

No one polishes watches....

shiny watches are for the rep apes.

I went to the AD to look at the 925 this past weekend...there was this dude there already buying it. He let me look at it before he left the store. IT IS sick. I would be worried about the case being tarnished or dinged too easily. Isn't silver soft?

Depends on the alloy mix, but Pure silver is harder than pure gold.

I actually think the silver tarnish will probably look really nice, a bit like the patina we see on bronze watches.

Lots of jewelry, rings, necklace, bracelets made out of Silver, tarnish is usually not a major issues and there are easy cleaning solutions available for this

Would think the rep factories could do this easily!

Not so long ago cutlery was pretty much silver plated, as it was much cheaper to plate base metal than use stainless steel.

Quite like the idea of a silver watch,  but I'd want one with a date window.
