MA123 85 Posted April 7, 2021 (edited) Really like the new chrono...! I’m not convinced by the new BB58s though. I love the current blue/black versions, but not so much these new variants. And I dont see the point of the display backs when its not a decorated movement - the movement is an awesome piece of engineering but dont look pretty (vs others like omega)...! Depends on the alloy mix, but Pure silver is harder than pure gold. I actually think the silver tarnish will probably look really nice, a bit like the patina we see on bronze watches. Not so long ago cutlery was pretty much silver plated, as it was much cheaper to plate base metal than use stainless steel. Quite like the idea of a silver watch, but I'd want one with a date window.
