Everything about that photo is beautiful. The lighting, the handmade paper sketch book with the leather bookmark and stylish handwriting, the watch, the... thing next to the watch. It's all lovely, and also intriguing... What's the source of these Seiko/Sub mashups? I've seen classic Seiko dive watches dressed up with inserts to look a bit like Rolex, but this example looks more... hybridificated. I'm interested to know more.

Also, what is that thing next to the watch? :)

@Mbari & @Popperini ... yep,  ..,, I’ll second those remarks..., looks wonderful Sir :thumbsup:.

Afternoon change .... G-Shock MT-G G1000...picked up at a great price off Chrono24...

I am a total quartz snob but for some reason G-Shocks are so unique you can wear them for their aesthetics alone!!

Big but wears so nicely....61a927ca67a4601be3636e1353a0e9ea.jpg

Face it, you'll never manage to tag me @Mbari. Because, like, no one can label me, man...

Thanks for the info, appreciated buddy... (scant on any useful detail tho it was). :) :thumbsup:

I accidentally bought 4 of the Seiko 1680 dials to use as dial blanks, without even realising they were an actual "thing". I just thought they were silly Chinese mash-ups printed in error.

BUT WAIT!! Hold on! My little snide remark above was based on your first "yeah from eBay" reply - I hadn't seen the second one with the pic of all the watches. But... I still has a big confuse. Are those pics of the watches on eBay, or your builds? They have those "sold" flashes on... Please, help!

I use them to experiment aging techniques, watch box running out of space so I listed them on ebay and people like em ...I guess. So they are sold.

You're #untaggable should be a song dedicated to you like the EMF one hit wonder you're unbelievable hahhahahha
