chulajuana 24 Posted April 20, 2021 Hello - I've been eyeing a Gen Cartier Francaise for Mother's Day and I was fully committed to purchasing one at retail price (~3.5k) but realized it's a quartz movement. I started to look around forums and quickly found that there are many 1:1 reps out there. I was curious how close the reps come to gen. Because it's a quartz movement, I have a strong feeling it'll be identical in movement. How do the watches compare in looks? Does Cartier use a better/refined quartz movement than what a rep will use? That being said, can anyone point me to the best 1:1 Cartier Francaise to buy?
