Budget JKF 1665 Great White build

After a few variants of red subs, started studying some great whites. As the interest grew stronger, I set up a challenge to see the best version of a jkf mod without going Viet. Here is the result:

Mods:

 

The cases on these need a lot of love and a major diet plan. Reshaped cgs, lug thickness and profile. Total pain tbh.

 

Dial and hands: aged and relumed. Loving the grainy texture of the lume, adding that salty character.

 

Dwo: slightly aged to match the watch

 

Bezel: shaved to add an inner lip and faded the insert to have that recessed look. Insert pip was also added. The color turned out to be a dark blue/violet mix that changes with lighting very well.

 

Bracelet oiled and softened. Endlinks adjusted to fit the thinner lug profile.
