rek001 12 Posted May 9, 2021 Hi all, so I just received a pretty decent SS DayDate , GMF factory, and one of the permanent links immediately came apart, thus rendering the bracelet unwearable. Ugh, I am pissed. It's the 36mm case size so the link pieces are quite small, and oh so fun to put together with my sausage fingers. I fitted the link together, connected it to the bracelet, and pushed very hard against both sides of permanent link. Heard a faint click, thought okay! it's fixed. Well, the bracelet fell apart in my lap in the car. Luckily I found the tiny permanent link pieces. SIGH. I contacted TD and he says to take it to a smith who can easily fix it. I don't have a watch smith nearby. Otherwise he said to send bracelet back and they will fix it. Right. So I wait 4 months 'til it comes back, if ever. Can anyone offer advice how to make this permanent link whole again, so I can wear and enjoy the watch. It's just maddening. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
