Use a scotch pad / cloth - works a treat on scratches

@Logan7      ...  As suggested above  . ... ..  and below is the colour code for uses of "Scotch Brite"  . ... .   and I use "Cape Cod" for cleaning and mirror finishing if required   ...  top tip  . ..  wear rubber gloves when using "Cape Cod" .   ..  :thumbsup2:

Colour Code

General Applications

Dark green Heavy duty cleaning, oxide removal
Light green Cleaning, equipment maintenance, blending, intermediate finishing

Thanks guys. I'm a bit scared to do it on strap as its two tone mirror shiny squares in the middle. Will that not scratch it mirror part even further?

Shiney bit use Cape Cod cloth

Stainless use scotch pad

Cover shiney with tape if worried - that's what I do.......

@Logan7   .  .   You can use protective tape to protect the mirror finishes  . .. . use a scalpel or razor blade wrapped in tape for your protection   . ..  ...  or use a modeling knife to cut the tape near the joints of the links accurately.  . ..    or alternatively  . ..  brake down the links  ... . . ..  take into consideration that the bracelet links may taper down in size . .  so remember to be sure which part of the links belong together  .. .  you could do this methodically by placing each broken down link into a dedicated envelope, money bag, egg box   ...   or by sticking the parts of that specific link onto a piece of masking tape and numbering its place on the bracelet  .. .  . .. TLC for watch refurbishment requires time and patience  ...  ... . and sometime dedicated tools and knowledge . .. . ..  there are many Topics on RWG on these subjects . ..  try using the search facility for helpful hints  . .. ..      a useful link for you below which may be good reading for you  :thumbsup2:.

Be careful if the shiny links are gold plated, too much rubbing may remove the plate.Otherwise as above
