Pesman 9,461 Posted May 25, 2021 Oh boy...you have stroke...you convince yourself that common sense will prevail....you reevaluate and reprioritise your life and suddenly realise that 8 days after returning home and being left unsupervised with an Internet connection.... BM284 1,519 Posted May 25, 2021 I’d say that is a totally sane purchase strategy..... for a completely addicted watch nut! Mate - how are you doing following a stroke??

BravoDelta 22,512 Posted May 26, 2021 I hope you have a complete and total recovery! A good sign is that the watch buying is back to normal.
Pesman 9,461 Posted May 26, 2021 I hope you have a complete and total recovery! A good sign is that the watch buying is back to normal. Thanks...what is worrying is that the above is classed as 'normal'...and the Zelos is still sat in their basket! ..thank God the burnt orange is sold out.... Pesman 9,461 Posted May 26, 2021 The Helgray is proving frustrating....no clue they were based in Canada and they shipped despite me cancelling...so despite it being a solid buy at £400 for a 45mm Seiko NE86 driven chronograph....£80 of import duty will hurt...especially as I suspect it will not be very legible... it is still sat in Canada but they seem unable to retrieve it despite me asking....let's hope I love it once it gets here! ...you get 10% off the price...so it matches original kickstarter cost... GingerApple 7,299 Posted May 26, 2021 You could just refuse to accept it on delivery, save return postage costs etc. I've done that before to avoid the same issue. If you've got a regular Postie, a heads up to them might help in covid times so the package isn't dumped on the doorstep.

Pesman 9,461 Posted May 26, 2021 The covid app is causing so many issues. Where I work has banned it as it makes no allowance for social distancing measures and can link to phones up to 400m away through office walls.... Pesman 9,461 Posted June 6, 2021 So, long overdue, I sat down this morning to reconcile the recent madness....OMG! Pasted below is both the gen and rep lists as they stand today...worse case is that in the whole list I probably only have 2 or 3 I would even consider parting with!
