Quartz Chrono

Hi,

I'm a noob. I've seen some quartz chronos on different TD sites. They are sold at around 150 USD, but no factory of origin is mentioned. These watches usually have OS20 or VK63 movements. The reps that I have seen are Omega, Tag Heuer, AP, IWC....

I am interested in some of these watches, as quartz is cheap and reliable, but also much easier to own than automatic chronos (cost of service, mechanical problems, price).

Are these watches good in finish?
The pictures on the TD sites are rarely very good about details and often seem a bit photoshopped (I might be mistaken on this point).

The pictures on more expensive reps are usually better.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of reps? Are they worth buying?

I've been eying the Omega Seamaster Diver Chrono in different colors for some time.

I obviously don't expect a stellar finish for that price, but at least some decent finish.

I don't have any rep, so my expectations are probably low.

Thanks for your opinion .

I can't speak to the finish as I don't own one, but I can speak to the movements because I have owned several over the years. VK quartz chronos are great movements. The issue I have seen with them in reps is with regards to subdial location and/or function vs. gen.
If you like the watch and would wear it, buy it and enjoy it. You can't go wrong with the movement.
