The build quality should be pretty good aswell.

My  Maranez brasso is one of the best in quality I've owned, functional, bullet proof, yet smooth as silk.

400 bux, plus taxes, customs etc.  for NH35? I don't think so. Just get gen Doxa or Seiko, you cheap plonkers.

doxa sub is about 2000plus usd and a beautiful watch, i have had one- but still a hell of a lot more expensive than these - these will satisfy many

The damn blue one goes from "will be here in about 10 days" to "out of stock" immediately.  And I looked twice a day.  Bitch.

not a particularly good copy though.

the orange dial is nothing like the Doxa, apart from being orange...

I like the watch.  I wouldn't know Doxa from beans.

they are gorgeous in the flesh, and very niche in so far as your unlikely to see many around.

But as homage/copies go, that thing is nothing like the Doxa.

As rep enthusiasts, we are used to some reps being very close, and to the untrained eye they are awesome.

But that thing is just not even remotely close.

When we look at an average rep being say a tenth of the gen, that thing i assume is at least £250, and is no comparison to the gen when we compare our reps to gen....

Not really. I would like the aquamarine one with an aquamarine rubber strap. Any ideas where I can get at least the strap for now?

Funny cuz my watchmaker buddy has worked on a bunch of Doxa and he is not impressed at all by their 'quality'. In his opinion (and he's a certified Omega repair man, works on every brand imaginable, Rolex, Panerai, JLC, AP, and he's even serviced an old Patek)... he says Doxa are all face and no trousers. Look good but when you open them up the movement is base, undecorated and he says on the few he's worked on the inside of the cases have been pretty unacceptably dirty from being over lubricated and dust and other dirt particles inside.

I was jazzed to get a gen at one point and he said if I really wanted that look, to get a Seiko and mod it.... more bang for buck.

This looks like a real Doxa case, it's the only one I see with proper feet in the external bezel ring. What is that?
