AlphaLima 17 Posted June 20, 2011 So, i'm practically in love with the IWC Aquatimer.....it makes me do a sex wee every time i look at it. I emailed Mary regarding the IWC above, but the only colour options she could get her hands on were these two... Now i'm quite partial to the black dialed option, and it looks to be a faithful reproduction of the Gen. I can live with the date wheel being the wrong colour, but the difference in colour between the hand and the bezel would set my OCD off something chronic. Why is it so hard to find a rep of this watch? I thought it would be an extremely popular choice, and not that difficult. Woe is me indeed. I've emailed Mary to see if there has been any change to the options available, after all it was January when i last contacted her, but i would dearly love to get this on my wrist. That's not a bad idea! The thing i find most frustrating is that this watch could be made, they literally have all the parts. The black & white bezel is available, as it's used on the Galapagos rep. The white dial, along with the baton indices and the combination of hands from both the 012 & 013 would make an exact rep, if not for the blue '2000 METRES' on the white dial. So close, yet so far.
