alan d 81 Posted August 20, 2021 I'd mentioned in another thread that I was saving for a Gen Breitling Aerospace. I didn't last long, as a trip to the Metro Centre cemented this, trying on a new evo model. I'd only gone in with the GF to order an extra link for her Tudor too. As soon as I tried it, I knew I wanted an aerospace. I came close to buying this Evo, having gone a dander for a bun to stew on it, but knew deep down it wasn't the model I wanted, as I loved the old bracelets on the 03's and prior. I'd took a dander past Marketcross to gawp at the Blackbirds they had on offer, purely out of noseyness, and asked if they had an Aerospace. They pointed me to the Middlesborough store, and I gave it no further thought till Kim convinced me that it really wasn't that far away, and we should go for a look. So we jumped in the car the next day, called to see one of her old friends while in the area, and hit marketcross. Im easily lead. I scored a copy of the catalogue too (these are nigh on impossible to get at home). I'm sorry the pics are absolute trunks, but i'm not even home to give it a proper clean, and fancy pics, but im excited and I hope you can forgive me! Stopped for a dirty carvery on the way back to Kims family, so couldn't help but pour over the bracelet construction Once I get home and give it a thorough cleaning, I'll post proper pics, but otherwise i'm delighted to own it. It's staggeringly light, and feels un-noticeable on the wrist. The crystal has the most beautiful blue/purple sheen in the light. Its also staggering how thin it is.
