40% off day:

Bulova for $270 or Seiko for $190?

Bulova because it has the day indicator. I don't like the seiko because alarm function on a watch suck and I don't need a stopwatch.

Seiko looks better to my taste, but I've had bad luck with self charging quartz watches (citizen eco drive and Seiko kinetic) since I don't wear them enough (or keep them in sunlight) to keep them charged so the batteries tend to go flat which is a large and unnecessary expense in a quartz watch, and the alarm function is probably pointless as said.  I'd probably lean towards the Bulova between the two.

Really like that Bulova, that'd be my pick.
