Help a noob out with his first rep purchase

First of all, thanks to all of you for the wealth of information here. It has been very helpful.

 

I am looking to purchase my first rep and would like opinions regarding vendor, availability, etc.

 

What I am looking to purchase is an Omega Seamaster 150.

Regarding vendors, I have looked at the Trusted Dealers list here and monitored some of the current comments regarding transactions.

 

So, do I go with Mary from watchinternational, PrestigeWatch, or someone else? I'm in the States if that makes a difference.

 

Am I nuts for choosing this model? I prefer simple faces and leather bands.

Hiya Milo, good to see you here. I'd say either Robert or Mary would be good choices. Email them a picture and they can tell you what they have.

 

Interesting choice, I like it but it is different. I have no idea if there is a good rep. I've got the Omega pumpkin and the blue seamaster chrono. Like them both. More popular models tend to have better reps. I like leather bands or natos also.
