Afternoon all...

New Omega 007 arrived from Mary...these are 'the new GF' according to Mary

Looks great... swapped onto black strap...bit of a wrestle but slightly bending the pins helped...

This the LE OHMSS Omega as detailed here...

Limited Edition plate although only 257 of this model were made not the 7007 of the date version...big giveaway!

42mm and no date...plus it even has a natty hidden 'Easter egg' 50 in the lume...I can't photo it on mine but here it is on the gen..

And here's the gen as a comparison...

Overall a very cool rep...if you like your Bond!

I am still hoping to get the RG version....makes a cool set...and a good saving on £37k even if you do get a key ring!

Just sent Mary a thank you email about the Omega and she says the factory that did it ORF - the relaunched GF has been busted now....difficult times for our hobby!

Seeing this rivetless makes me want one again. Is this bracelet aftermarket or from a chrono version? Looks great!

GOOD EVENING, Fellow Mates!

On the last two days of November, let's enjoy them as  best we can, shall we?

Today, a new addition to the collection from the excellent RWG mate SemperFi55: this two- toned Rolex Submariner SERTI. I always thought these models were a bit too flashy for me, but SemperFi's pics of his sale item just struck me as awesome, so I thought I'd try one (I didn't have one in my collection. It truly is an attractive watch; so after adding two links to the bracelet, WALAWW: an attractive but "flashy" rep. Sales transaction with SemperFi were just excellent, too! dave:

Omega Blue 300m SeamSter ORF

The other Omega from Mary and the GF relaunched...and quickly defunct...ORF

Again a stunning build of the archetypal blue Omega .... not sure about the date though...

That one's been sat in my "to be fixed" drawers for months - the date having got out of synch and only rotating halfway. So I yanked it out yesterday (oo-er missus) to start taking it apart and try fixing the keyless, but while messing about with the crown position and pushing/pulling/rotating it in a cavalier fashion, I managed to get it so the date changed correctly again. The quick-set position isn't working, but the date clicks over when setting the time. So that'll do for now until I feel like taking it apart and properly "fixing" it (at which point I'll have to buy a new movement, natch...).
